This tour is operated by Destination Tromsø.

Start your wilderness adventure with a comfortable 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø city centre to the stunning Tamokdalen Valley, home to our wilderness camp, Camp Tamok. This remote location offers a true escape into Norway’s pristine Arctic nature. Upon arrival, your experienced guide will greet you and provide thermal suits, boots and gloves to ensure you stay warm and comfortable in the Arctic winter.

Immerse yourself in the magic of a Norwegian winter with hands-on, authentic activities designed for all ages. Try tandem skiing to test your balance, explore the snowy landscape on snowshoes and join guided activities led by our expert guides. Listen to fascinating stories about Arctic life and the stunning surroundings, and meet our friendly reindeer.

You will also learn essential winter survival skills, such as building and maintaining a fire in cold conditions. Warm up by the fire and grill your own sausage while enjoying a hot drink. After a relaxing winter day at Camp Tamok, you return to Tromsø by bus.
