Stavanger Marathon

This summer's greatest running event! Stavanger Marathon is organised by the athletics club GTI Friidrettsklubb. It's one day with several running options in terms of distance and level. Stavanger Marathon has its start and finish line at the square outside the Stavanger Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Norway and from the first half of the 1100s. With great variation in length and route, the Stavanger Marathon provides a challenge suitable for all! The different options are children's race, 5 kilometres, half marathon and marathon.
