Stavanger Symphony Orchestra: Mahler, Berg & Beethoven

Experience a concert featuring three major works from the classical repertoire, performed by the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Thierry Fischer.

The programme spans Mahler’s moving “Adagietto” from Symphony No. 5 and Alban Berg’s beautiful and expressive Seven Early Songs, through to Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 3, “Eroica”. Here, the intense emotions and rich sound world of late Romanticism meet Beethoven’s powerful and groundbreaking symphonic expression.

Soprano Hera Park is the soloist in Berg’s Seven Early Songs, while Thierry Fischer leads the orchestra through a programme offering intimacy, drama and great symphonic power.
