Anker Brygge rorbu suites

Boeken

Anker Brygge is a full-service rorbu (traditional fisherman's cabin) resort located in the heart of the harbor basin in Lofoten's capital, Svolvær. Our spacious rorbu cabins and suites are situated on a separate island called Lamholmen, just 150 meters from Svolvær Square, allowing guests to park their cars on the island and take a short walk to a paradise of activities, attractions, shops, and cafes. Our rustic and lovely restaurant "Kjøkkenet" offers you delicious and traditional North Norwegian cuisine. Here, you can enjoy your meal and the atmosphere by the fireplace from grandmother's old kitchen while looking out at the view of the city, the boat life, the sea, and the surrounding mountains. For a more informal bite, we suggest the Bryggebaren under the same roof, which offers simpler dishes by the quayside in the summer while the last rays of the sun reflect in the sea, or indoors in rustic and authentic surroundings from a bygone era. At Anker Brygge, you get everything you seek in terms of accommodation, good dining experiences, activities, a relaxed atmosphere, and at the same time, proximity to the city, the sea, and the Lofoten mountains.

Anker Brygge is a very carefully designed resort that has put quality and standard high on the agenda.

All our apartments are furnished in an individual, personal style and maintain standards that are almost unprecedented. In this way, we hope to touch the hearts of a different group of tourists, those who make higher demands on standard than that normally offered by other resorts in Norway.

The quayside building that today houses Anker Brygge was built in 1880 and was formerly a fish landing station complete with a saltery and barrel factory.

Today, a modern, yet historical site with high standard accommodation and exquisite food with local flavours.
