The Inferno Metal Festival has gathered metal fans from all over the world for a music festival in the heart of the Black Metal capital since 2001.

The festival consists of about 50 concerts spread out over four days. These are all within the extreme metal genre, such as black metal, death metal, thrash metal, doom metal and more.

The festival also gathers the music industry at the Inferno Music Conference, which includes several discussion panels, social events and instrument clinics.

The festival also offers activities such as movie viewings, tattooing, art exhibitions, beer tasting, sauna, autograph signings and guided walks around Oslo.
