"In the Artist's Garden" Tor-Arne Moen and Clare Woods
The exhibition "In the Artist's Garden" is a duo exhibition with Tor-Arne Moen and Clare Woods Tor-Arne Moen (b. Notodden 1966) turns 60 on May 13th this year, and we start the celebration by showing the large-format painting "Humlehimmel". "Almost every day since the beginning of June I have taken a flower or a twig from our garden, put it in water and conscientiously painted it into a large picture that has slowly taken its baroque form as new plants have bloomed or simply enticed with their summery, ephemeral beauty." Tor-Arne Moen, August 8, 2025 Once the summer garden flowers were attached to the canvas, he embarked on studies of Telemark's atmospheric ponds, which has resulted in a series of beautiful and colorful paintings of autumn water lily leaves. Moen's paintings are joined by British Clare Woods. It is a pleasure for us to be able to show her graphic works to a Trøndelag audience for the first time. Woods has recently worked with the still life motif, but we also show a wider range of motifs in the exhibition. She has an impressive CV with many solo exhibitions both in her home country and internationally, and is represented in a number of public collections. She will open a major museum exhibition in London this summer; "A Garden Without Seasons" at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. Tor-Arne Moen has captured his work on "Humlehimmel" on film, which will be shown during the exhibition. We hope the exhibition will give the audience a beautiful respite in a troubled world, and a taste of summer's abundance of plants and colors.

The sixties are back in Teatergata! 60s Hearts Club Band takes you to the golden age of pop music with sing-alongs, dancing and timeless monster hits, plus some hidden gems – from The Beatles, The Kinks, Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival. This will be an unforgettable evening for both heart and dancing feet. 60s Hearts Club Band is: Øyvind Holm , guitar, known as the frontman of Sugarfoot, who toured with The Waterboys in England last year, and who has recently released the highly acclaimed album Blue is the Color of my Soul Light . Our cultural heritage is important to the Trondheim Soloists, and for this concert they bring with them one of Norway's most exciting young performers, Marja Mortensson. With the Southern Sami yoik tradition at its center, she uses the sonorous and rhythmic elements of the language to create her distinctive musical universe. This concert presents Suite no. 1, Aarehgïjre – Early Spring and Suite no. 2, Tjaktje – Autumn, both of which were created in collaboration with composer and arranger Knut Anders Vestad.

Öszi almanac (Béla Tarr, Hungary 1984) 1h 59m - Hungarian voice, English subtitles - Age limit 12 years Tarr's only color film 🎨 This is a significant film in Béla Tarr's career. Here he abandons the social realism that has characterized his previous films, and moves into a new and more mythical universe. The fact that the film opens with a Pushkin quote indicating that the Devil leads the dance in circles says a lot about Tarr's worldview. Almanac of Fall is a classic chamber play. A small group of characters are trapped in a posh but dilapidated apartment, playing their cards in a brutal power struggle. Money and sex are thrown forward as trump cards, even though they are actually of minor importance; it is the one with the strongest will to power who will emerge victorious.

Angel's Egg
Tenshi no tamago (Mamoru Oshii, Japan 1985) 1h 11m - Japanese voice, Norwegian subtitles - Age limit 15 years In Angel's Egg, we follow a nameless girl wandering through a desolate, otherworldly landscape. She looks after a large egg that she hides under her dress. Apart from a fateful encounter with an unknown boy, she is apparently the only living person there. What has happened in this world that makes it abandoned? Why is the girl alone? Who is the boy? What is inside the egg, and why is the girl looking after it? Director and screenwriter Mamoru Oshii does not provide any definitive answers to these questions. However, one can say that Angel's Egg is a symbolic and lyrical portrayal of existential anxiety, loneliness and melancholy in a world and an existence that has lost an overall order and a greater meaning. Trondheim Art Museum's Art Club invites you to an inspiring evening with color consultant Ingrid Simensen on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00 PM at the Literature House in Trondheim. Free for members of the Art Club at TKM. Not a member? Ticket costs 200,- What happens when colors not only change the space, but also how we feel in it? When color consultant Ingrid Simensen renovated her own home, she discovered how important light, surroundings and shades are in how colors are experienced. The experience sparked a deep fascination with the interaction of colors and their ability to influence both spaces and people. This led to a new career choice, and today she is a certified color consultant from the Norwegian Color Academy. Now she wants to give more people the opportunity to experience the joy of living with colors they truly enjoy. Trondheim Art Museum's Art Club invites you to an inspiring evening at the House of Literature, where Simensen shares his personal story and his knowledge of colors. Why are colors experienced differently from one room to another? How do we find shades that harmonize with each other? And how can we use colors consciously to create environments we thrive in? Bandet er fra Fosen i Trøndelag og består av 7 medlemmer, derav en trådløs blåserekke på tre.Bandet hadde sin første spillejobb mars 2007 og har siden den gang ervervet mange tilhengere rundt om i landet etter å ha besøkt en rekke klubber og festivaler. De har opparbeidet seg et solid liverykte og har også vært backingband for turnerende amerikanske artister som Angela Brown og Earl Thomas. Er rijden elke dag vier treinen tussen Oslo en Trondheim op de Dovre-spoorlijn. De trein doet er ongeveer 7 uur over.

Met de bus
Vanuit Oslo en andere grote steden vertrekken er dagelijks meerdere bussen naar Trondheim. De reistijd vanuit Oslo bedraagt ongeveer 8 uur.

Met de auto
De Noorse E6-snelweg van noord naar zuid loopt langs Trondheim, terwijl de E39 - de snelweg langs de kust - eindigt in Klett, zo'n 10 kilometer ten zuiden van Trondheim.
Je kunt ook van Oslo naar Trondheim rijden via de Rv3.

Zowel in noordelijke als zuidelijke richting meert Hurtigruten, de Noorse Kustexpress, dagelijks aan in Trondheim.

Lokaal vervoer
De busdienst in Trondheim wordt verzorgd door AtB en heeft een netwerk aan routes dat zowat de hele stad bestrijkt. Overdag rijden de bussen regelmatig, en 's avonds iets minder vaak.

De luchthaven van Trondheim biedt zowel internationale als binnenlandse vluchten.
