Nils Økland (fiddle), Roar Engelberg (pan flute), Eilif Moe (guitar, vocals), Per Karang (piano) and Pål Thorstensen (double bass) - together this wild bunch set Oslo's free-spirited musical life alight in the 1980s. No music was foreign to them, but often it was tango, virtuosic Romani and folk music from Hungary and Romania, or perhaps a song by Arne Bendiksen, that echoed between the walls. Now they gather again, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of their somewhat rough-around-the-edges record "Årsrapport". Musical club host Gabriel Fliflet was a guest on the record, and will likely also appear on stage this time. Amalie Holt Kleive is an artist, songwriter and producer with an expression that lives in contrasts. She combines electronica, jazz and ballad pop in music that is both tender and danceable, serious and playful. Amalie's debut album «De løper der jeg går» (2022) was met with glowing reviews, and was described by Morgenbladet as a sign of a bright future for Norwegian pop. Earlier this year the follow-up «Vi er de evige» arrived, and here the musical expression is continued and further developed. The album is written and produced in collaboration with Vetle Junker, Peder Kolsung, Fredrik Svabø and Njål Paulsberg. Vi er de evige mirrors fragments from Amalie's own life over the last four years – a period marked by travels around the world with Aurora and Tomora, encounters with countless people and a high tempo that has at times challenged her inherent calm. The experiences have made her more attentive to what feels eternal in life: Those who never leave, that which always remains. Handel tended to work fast, but never quite as fast as in the summer of 1741, when he found himself in the grip of total inspiration while at work on his outstanding masterpiece, Messiah. What resulted was a work of incredible dramatic range, colossal imagination and huge variety – all underpinned by a sense of community and generosity. A hybrid of German, Italian and English musical styles, Messiah changed the landscape of choral music in Britain. It continues to transcend cultural, geographical or religious boundaries with its message of peace, goodwill, sacrifice and charity. Messiah’s rousing choruses and touching solos – its moments of deep reflection and uplifting celebration – are likely to sound particularly fresh under the musical leadership of Matthew Halls, who made his name with baroque music. Heim med Joni comes to Ole Bull Scene – with humorist and journalist Linda Eide as guest narrator! The critically acclaimed concert production Heim med Joni finally comes to Ole Bull Scene. Audiences get to experience Joni Mitchell's music, history and Norwegian roots through powerful musical interpretations and New Norwegian translations. Joni Mitchell's great-great-grandparents emigrated from Modalen to Canada in 1882. In the concert production Heim med Joni she is brought back home to the West Coast, where the iconic songs get new life with Hardanger fiddle, new arrangements and lyrics translated by among others Frode Grytten, Agnes Ravatn, Marit Eikemo, Ragnar Hovland – and Linda Eide. Between songs, humorist and journalist Linda Eide, who serves as guest narrator, tells the story of Joni Mitchell's life, her career and her Norwegian roots. Raftevold & Berg (Aleksander Raftevold & Sebastian Berg) are a ballad duo from Nordfjord who since 2023 have played over a hundred concerts around Norway. With warm voices, powerful stories and a deep love for the Nordic ballad tradition the duo has established themselves as an intimate and distinctive presence on the Norwegian ballad scene. In 2024 they released their debut album Visenes Vår, in which they interpret both classic ballads and their own arrangements with roots in folk, ballad and Nordic traditional music. Their version of Jakob Sande's «Du er min los» received airplay on NRK P1, and the album opened the door to an ever-growing number of stages and concert venues. In 2025 they were behind the production Viser min bestefar song at Operahuset Nordfjord, a musical and historical presentation built around ballads from Aleksander Raftevold's grandfather and the strong storytelling tradition from the West Coast. The production received a great response from audiences and has its Oslo premiere at the legendary Edderkoppen Scene in autumn 2026. This autumn the duo releases their second album Mellom vindar, in which they tackle Scottish, Irish and Norwegian traditional melodies with their own lyrics and translations into Nordfjord dialect. They are perhaps the only people in the world who have translated «Homeward Bound» by Marta Keen into Norwegian dialect. The song gained new attention when Bryn Terfel's interpretation spread like wildfire in 2025, and now Raftevold & Berg come with their own version. Audiences will also hear their interpretation of «Dark Eyed Sailor», a ballad that has received great attention through the new film Wuthering Heights. Their music balances the intimate and the humorous, the nostalgic and the lively, always performed with a clear sense of belonging and communication. Fälaren and Future Nostalgia invite you to a dreamy and psychedelic evening at Landmark Ticket: NOK 300 + fee Entry: 21:00 ID: 18 Fälaren is Norway's first folkgaze band, and their unique combination of shoegaze, psychedelia, jazz rock and folk tunes has with only a handful of performances already engaged both audiences and the industry, most recently with their participation at Trondheim Calling and signing with Apollon Records. The band wishes to create a new musical expression that stands out in today's musical landscape. With definitive nods to shoegaze, dream pop and post-punk, Future Nostalgia finds inspiration in fundamental genre pioneers such as Slowdive and Ride, and contemporary trailblazers such as Diiv, Grouper and Ringo Deathstarr. The band consists of members who have long been active on the Norwegian music scene, among others in projects such as Mining in Yukon, Pumpegris, LOOSER, Hill Bomb and Temporary, and have over time found their expression in the dreamy and floating. The latest record "Mellow" remains in the floating and dreamy, which listeners will recognise from the first full-length, but is this time marked by a darker, more dynamic soundscape, and with a heavier, underlying thematic. Reis je vanuit Oslo, dan kun je door het bergplateau Hardangervidda, Haukeli, of Hemsedalsfjellet rijden (7 tot 8,5 uur).
